ISMYDEVICEWORKING · A3C LABS INC.
Your tests stay in your browser.
This notice describes IsMyDeviceWorking, operated by A3C Labs Inc. Effective September 10, 2026.
Diagnostic information
Camera video, microphone audio, clipboard content, sensor readings, location and USB information are processed locally by this application. We do not upload these values to A3C Labs or a third-party diagnostics service. Media is not recorded. Results are held in page memory and are cleared when you reload or close the page; Clear Results also resets them.
Your browser or operating system may use its own services to provide a feature, including location. Those platform services are controlled by their providers. This site does not reverse-geocode your location or contact a remote speed-test service.
Permissions and clipboard control
Permission-sensitive tests start only after deliberate interaction. You may decline access, stop a test or revoke site permissions in browser settings. Run All checks supported features and identifies tests that still need your action; it does not grant access on your behalf.
The clipboard test explains when it will replace clipboard contents with sample text. Reading the clipboard requires a separate explicit action. Clipboard content is not shown in downloadable or shared summaries.
Downloading and sharing
A downloaded report is created locally after you choose Download Results. Shared summaries contain test names and statuses, not video, audio, clipboard content, coordinates, sensor values, device identifiers or USB details. When you choose a share destination, that application handles the summary under its own policies.
Ordinary website requests
The hosting infrastructure receives ordinary request metadata such as your IP address, request headers, requested file and request time to deliver the website and protect its availability. Hosting providers may maintain operational logs. Diagnostic values are not placed in these requests.
Application code, fonts and diagnostic assets are served by the website itself. This version does not use session replay or store diagnostic history.
Analytics
IsMyDeviceWorking uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate site usage and engagement. Google Analytics may process general page and diagnostic visits, browser and device category, approximate geography and referral source.
Diagnostic inputs and results and raw device information remain processed locally in your browser and are not intentionally sent to Google Analytics. This includes camera or microphone content, coordinates, clipboard content, sensor or battery values, network or WebRTC addresses, diagnostic-specific screen and viewport measurements, permission details, USB device information and arbitrary error text.
Browser privacy controls, including Do Not Track, Global Privacy Control, tracking protection and content blockers where supported, may limit analytics.
Advertising
The site publishes Google AdSense account-verification metadata and an ads.txt publisher record. This release does not load an advertising script or display ads. If advertising is enabled in the future, this notice and any required privacy choices will be updated separately from analytics.
Contact and changes
If you contact us by email, we receive the message and contact details you choose to send so we can respond. Please do not send sensitive diagnostic content. Contact A3C Labs using the link below for privacy questions. We will update the effective date when this notice changes.
